Plating
Buff
At the end of your turn you gain unpowered Block equal to the stack count, timed early so it is up before end-of-turn damage. When your next turn begins the stack count drops by 1, except on your first turn of the combat. Sources: Stone Armor 4 (6), Neutron Aegis 8 (11), Eternal Armor 9 (12), Gorget 4 each combat, Heart of Iron 7.

Notes
Who starts with it
Enemies with Plating also gain their Block before your first turn: Frog Knight 15 (19), Slumbering Beetle 15 (18) until it wakes, Lagavulin Matriarch 12 until it wakes, Sewer Clam 8 (9), Mysterious Knight 6.
In multiplayer an enemy's Plating is multiplied by 3 with two players and 5 with three, and it decays by the player count.
Orichalcum checks your Block before Plating fires, and No Block does not stop it.
Rules and timing
In co-op an enemy receives more of it: the amount rises with the number of players.
