Left asleep ·Turn 1
How to beat Slumbering Beetle
Left alone: sleeps three turns and rolls on turn four. Plating keeps about 15 Block on it while it sleeps, so chip damage barely gets through and each unblocked hit hastens the wake-up.
Clean line: kill the two Bowlbugs during the sleep window and face the beetle fresh, with no Plating left.
Waking it: three unblocked hits from a multi-hit attack end the sleep and buy a Stunned turn, leaving an awake beetle with no Block.
Only do that if 86 HP is within reach, because Roll Out grows by 2 every turn.
Notes
- HP is fixed at 86 (89 at Ascension 8+).
- Hive normal pool, in Slumber Party behind a Bowlbug Rock and a Bowlbug Silk.
- Its Ascension 8+ Plating bump comes from Tough Enemies rather than the damage tier.
