Constrict
A debuff from the Slithering Strangler, which opens with a Constrict move that gives every player 3 stacks and repeats it after each of its attacks. At the end of each of your turns you take damage equal to the stack count. The damage is unpowered but blockable, so Block you still hold at end of turn absorbs it. The power removes itself the moment the Strangler dies.

Notes
Since the damage lands while your Block is still up, blocking a little more than the enemy attacks need cancels it. The Strangler has 53 to 55 HP, 54 to 56 at Tough Enemies, and alternates Constrict with a 7-damage Thwack plus 5 Block or a 12-damage Lash, 8 and 13 at Deadly Enemies. Killing it early is the answer; the stacks never decay. Artifact eats an application.
Changes by version
- Slithering Strangler's Constrict power now triggers after Frost Orb so that the damage is blocked
- Plating power now gives you block before Slithering Strangler enemy's Constrict power deals you damage
- Decemillipede shows now correct intent for Constrict move
