While Frail, gain 25% less Block from cards.

Frail multiplies the Block you gain from cards and monster moves by 0.75. Block from relics, potions and powers, including a Frost orb's passive, is untouched. It is a duration: applications add turns rather than deepening the penalty, and the count ticks down by 1 at the end of the enemy turn. Axebot, Crusher, Globe Head and Frog Knight apply 2; the Queen applies 99.

Notes

Skipping the first tick

  • When an enemy applies it during its turn, the tick at the end of that same turn is skipped, so 2 Frail means 2 full player turns of weaker Block.
  • The curse Shame gives 1 Frail if it ends the turn in your hand and skips the first tick the same way unless you were already Frail.
  • Enemies can be Frail too; their count still waits for the enemy turn to end.

Rules and timing

Its duration drops by 1 at the end of the enemies' turn, whoever has it. On a player who did not have it yet, the first drop is skipped.
