The counter shows on the relic and lights up at two Attacks.

When to take Kunai
Take it in Attack-dense decks that reach three plays a turn, since its value is highest in Act 1 and 2 with long fights still ahead. A Rare pick in Act 3 has fewer turns to snowball.
