The first Attack you play each turn is remembered as it starts, and once it finishes a clone of it, same upgrade level, is created in your hand with Ethereal added. The copy is a normal card: you pay its cost to play it, it does not trigger the relic again, and it Exhausts at end of turn if unplayed. The flag resets each turn.
