What Vakuu says
The first, second and fifth visit as a character each have their own exchange. Every other visit draws one of the repeating lines: the second-visit line or an Any climber line.

Give yourself to me and you will be feared as much as I.

Seeking glory in the Spire are we? I have some propositions for you...

N. N times you’ve been here.

You realize this never ends?

Imagine seeing you again after so long.
SACRED DEMON!
What have you done to me!?

Exactly what you bargained for.

Do the lost tribes weigh on you...?
Vakuu howls with laughter.

My puppet of puppets... why haven’t you killed the Architect yet?
After I kill the Architect, I will kill YOU!

Yawn
I look forward to watching you fail.
Other visits: one of the repeating lines at random, the second-visit line above or an line.

Killer.
...

This won’t end well for you.

Vakuu displays his various contracts to the Silent

The Architect is not enough, kill your sisters too!
...

No need for words, we are the same.
Other visits: one of the repeating lines at random, the second-visit line above or an line.

Broken one, let me perfect you.

Do you find it strange that your fellow constructs want you dead?

If you bring me the Architect’s heart, I will restore your companion.
<fearful beeping>

What’s more important? Your creator or your friend?
Other visits: one of the repeating lines at random, the second-visit line above or an line.

We both seek vengeance. It will have a cost to pay.
I accept any cost. Every cost for his death.

I know where you got that Hand.

The Architect has gravely wounded us both.
Get on with it, demon. Show me your contracts.

Straight to business. Very well...
Other visits: one of the repeating lines at random, the second-visit line above or an line.

A being from the stars? Within these accursed walls?
Do you know of me?

Yes, I think we can help each other.

More of my power can be yours for a small price.
I don’t think these deals are good. I’m not feeling great.

You read the contracts thoroughly have you not?
You have signed them with full intent and responsibility no?

Are you not going to fulfill your end of the bargain?
How about another contract? Isn’t that better?

Relics offered
How the visit works
His seat
Meeting him
Arrival heals all missing HP, 80% at Ascension 2.- The First Demon deals in contracts, keeps count of how many times each character has come to him and says the number aloud, and reminds the Ironclad that the bargain is exactly what he signed.
The three pools
- The three options come one from each of three pools, shuffled.
Pool one: Blood-Soaked Rose, Whispering Earring and Fiddle.
Pool two: Preserved Fog, Sere Talon and Distinguished Cape.
Pool three: Choices Paradox, Music Box, Lord's Parasol and Jeweled Mask.
Which relic to take from Vakuu
Pool one
- Pool one is energy or draw with a catch.
Blood-Soaked Rose gives 1 Energy a turn and adds Enthralled, a 2-cost Eternal curse that must be played before anything else while in hand. Turns you draw it are a wash, the rest are a gain.
Fiddle draws two extra cards each turn but forbids all other draw, a large gain for a deck with no draw cards and a trap for one built on them.
Whispering Earring gives 1 Energy but hands your first turn to Vakuu, who plays up to 13 cards left to right into the leftmost enemy. Take it only where any first turn is fine.
Pool two
Distinguished Cape costs 9 Max HP for three Apparition cards, each a turn of Intangible.
Preserved Fog removes three cards but adds Folly, an Innate, Ethereal curse that takes one of your opening cards in every combat and is gone after the first turn.
Sere Talon adds three Wish tutors and two random curses, which can be far worse than the Wishes are good.
Pool three
Jeweled Mask plays a Power free every combat, the pick for any Power deck.
Music Box copies your first Attack each turn, best with one heavy hitter.
Choices Paradox hands you a chosen card with Retain each combat.
Lord's Parasol takes the whole stock of the next Merchant for nothing, but every card in it joins your deck.
