Choices Paradox
Ancient
On turn 1 of every combat, the Paradox shows five different random cards from your character's unlocked pool. You pick one; it gains Retain and goes into your hand for this combat only. It is not added to your deck. The pick happens at turn start, before you play anything, and the Retain means you can hold it until the right turn.

When to take Choices Paradox
Take it from Vakuu when your deck is thin or consistent enough to spare a free card each fight, since Retain makes any pick useful. Weaker if you need a specific card every draw.
