At the end of each turn, lower the cost of a random Retained card by 1 until played.
After your end-of-turn discard, the relic looks at the cards you kept through Retain, ignores any with an X cost or a current cost of 0, and picks one at random. That card's cost drops by 1 until it is played. Holding a card for several turns can stack the reduction more than once. Nothing happens on a turn where you retained nothing eligible. It unlocks at Annihilation.
When to take Bookmark
Take it when your deck already retains cards on purpose, Reap, Reaper Form, Sow or Spur. A poor Rare in a deck with no Retain cards at all.
