Mangle

IroncladAttackRare
Deal 15 damage.
Enemy loses 10 Strength this turn.
  • Hit: three Energy for 15 damage, 20 upgraded.
  • Drain: then the enemy loses 10 Strength, 15 upgraded, as a temporary Mangle stack that is removed at the end of the enemy's own turn.
  • Example: Strength can go negative, so an enemy that would swing for 20 swings for 10, and a weak multi-hit attack can be pushed to 0 per hit.
  • Order: the damage lands before the drain, so the drain only shapes the enemy's next attack.

When to take Mangle

A boss and elite card: play it when the enemy shows a big attack intent, since it doubles as most of your Block. It is slow for Act 1 hallways, so pick it up in Act 2 or later.
