Thorns
Thorns hits back. When the owner is about to take damage from an attack that scales with powers, the attacker takes damage equal to the Thorns stacks first, once per hit, so a 3-hit attack into 4 Thorns eats 12. The return damage is unpowered, so Strength and Vulnerable do not change it, and it can be blocked. It never decays.

Notes
Player sources: Abrasive (4, or 6 upgraded, plus 1 Dexterity), the event card Caltrops (3, or 5), Bronze Scales (3 at combat start) and Liquid Bronze (3). Spiny Toad and Toadpole carry it against you. Omnislice is special-cased to trigger it even though its spread damage is not a powered attack. Thorns damage never triggers other Thorns, so two prickly creatures never loop.
Rules and timing
It only counts damage from Attack cards and enemy attacks. HP loss and damage dealt by relics, potions and other powers do not count.
