What Orobas says

The first, second and fifth visit as a character each have their own exchange. Every other visit draws one of the repeating lines: the second-visit line or an Any climber line.

How the visit works

His seat

  • Orobas is one of the three ancients of Hive, competing with Pael and Tezcatara for the act's ancient node at the start of Act 2.
  • He is locked behind the Orobas epoch, earned by finishing a run after every character has been played at least once.

Meeting him

  • Arrival heals all missing HP, 80% at Ascension 2.
  • He is excitable, thinks violence is bad and adores the Regent's stories.

Slots one and two

  • The three options come from three slots.
  • First: one of Electric Shrymp, Glass Eye, Sand Castle and a fourth candidate. One time in three it is Prismatic Gem, otherwise Sea Glass tuned to a random other character you have unlocked.
  • Second: one of Alchemical Coffer, Driftwood and Radiant Pearl.

Slot three

  • Touch of Orobas if you still carry your starter relic.
  • Or Archaic Tooth if a starter card with an ancient form, Bash, Neutralize, Unleash, Falling Star or Dualcast, is still in your deck.
  • If neither applies, the slot is shown locked.

Worth knowing

  • In co-op each player gets their own copy of Orobas: the slots are rolled separately for every player, the third slot looks at that player's own starter relic and deck, and each player takes one relic.
  • If you still hold both your starter relic and a starter card with an ancient form, the third slot is a coin flip between Touch of Orobas and Archaic Tooth.
  • Archaic Tooth also turns Neutralize into Suppress and Unleash into Protector.
  • Glass Eye hands out its five cards as five card rewards of three cards each.
  • The fifteen cards of Sea Glass are five Common, five Uncommon and five Rare.
