Game term
View all of the cards, potions, and relics you have encountered throughout the Spire.
The Compendium is the out-of-run reference reached from the main menu.
Shows what your profile has discovered: the Card Library, the Relic Collection, the Potion Lab and the Bestiary when it is available, alongside Leaderboards, Statistics and Run History.
Discovery is tracked per card, relic, potion, enemy and epoch on the player's save, so a card you have never been offered stays hidden until it turns up in a reward, a shop, an event or an opponent's hand.
Nothing in it changes gameplay: it is a record and a study aid, and it is also where you check what is still locked.
Worth knowing
Notes
- Card coverage: every card by character for Ironclad, Silent, Defect, Necrobinder and Regent, plus every relic and potion.
- Enemy coverage: every enemy's move pattern and Ascension values, including bosses such as Vantom and elites such as Spectral Knight.
Two uses: use the in-game Compendium to see what you have unlocked, and the wiki pages to learn what a card does before you meet it, since the Compendium only lists cards after they have shown up.
