Linked Rewards
Game term
You can only select 1 reward from this set.
Rewards normally stack: you take the gold, the potion and a card in any order.
A linked set is different. The bracketed rewards share one claim, so the moment you take any of them the others in the set disappear, and skipping the set skips all of them.
Each reward in the set points at its parent set, the hover tip on any of them shows this warning, and claiming one removes the rest from the screen.
The set counts as populated only when every option inside it has been rolled, so you always see the full choice before you pick.
Worth knowing
Notes
Like a shop: treat a linked set like a shop with one free item, reading every option before clicking.
Real drops: a card reward inside a set still follows the Card Reward rules (3 options, Skip available), and a relic inside one is a real relic drop.
When it appears: standard rewards after an Enemy or Elite fight are generated as independent items, so a linked set only appears where a room or effect deliberately offers a pick-one choice.
Weigh gold: early in Overgrowth a good card beats a small purse, late in Glory unspendable gold is worth nothing.
