What each choice does

Which option to take

Always use Big Divination and hunt the 4 by 4 relic first. Pay the gold only if you are rich and refuse curses.

How it plays

Opening the board

  • Uncover Future: costs 51 to 99 Gold, rolled on arrival, for 3 divinations.
  • Payment Plan: adds the Debt curse (Unplayable, drop 10 Gold at end of turn if held), for 6 divinations instead.

The fogged grid

  • Both options open the same board: an 11 by 11 fogged grid with clear corners.
  • It hides 1 relic (4 by 4), common, uncommon and rare card rewards (2 by 2 each), 1 rare potion (2 by 2), 2 common potions (1 by 3), 2 gold piles of 30, 5 piles of 10 and 1 curse (2 by 2).

Clearing tiles

  • Each divination clears a 3 by 3 block (Big) or a single tile (Small).
  • An item pays out only once every tile it covers is clear.
  • At the end: gold, potions, a 1-of-3 card reward of its rarity and a random relic are paid out, while the curse drops Doubt into your deck at once.
