  • First Attack consumes it: it adds 8 to every hit that card makes, because the power locks onto the attack command and only ticks down once the command finishes.
  • Multi-hit cards: a Twin Strike becomes 13 twice, and an X-cost Whirlwind gets 8 on each swing.
  • No decay, own attacks only: it has no decay, and it only counts your own attacks, not Osty's.

When to take Akabeko

Take it early, the extra 8 damage on turn 1 kills or cripples most single Act 1 enemies before they act. Still a head start on elites later, weak if your first turn is mostly setup.
