Stun
Card effect
Prevent the enemy from acting on its next turn.
Stun only works on monsters; players cannot be stunned.
Effect: the target's planned move swaps for a Stunned move that does nothing, and its intent icon changes at once.
No stacking: that empty turn must be played out, so a second Stun landing before then adds nothing.
After: the monster's next move defaults to the last move it logged, the very move it was showing when stunned, so Stun delays that attack by one turn rather than cancelling it, unless the stunning effect names a different follow-up.
Immune: a monster whose current move is flagged as one it must perform shrugs the Stun off, and a dead enemy is never stunned.
Cards with Stun
Notes
Only player card: Whistle deals 33 damage (44 upgraded), Stun, Exhaust, and it only exists through Tanx's Whistle from the Tanx event.
Self-stunning enemies: Imbalanced when an attack is fully blocked, Burrowed on Tunneler when all its Block is stripped, Plow when Ceremonial Beast first falls to 150 HP, Shriek at half HP on Terror Eel, Ravenous when Corpse Slug eats a corpse.
Exception: Bowlbug (Rock) goes off balance instead.
