How to beat Bowlbug (Rock)

  • Block exactly 15 (16) and it loses every second turn. Take even 1 damage and it swings again next turn.
  • That makes it the cheapest enemy in the fight to neutralize: 15 (16) Block every other turn buys a free turn each time.
  • With 45 to 48 HP it is also the fattest Bowlbug, so it is rarely the first kill.
  • Deal with the Bowlbug (Nectar) before its buff, and use the Rock's stun turns to work on the rest.
  • Frail is the thing to fear here, since it can turn a full block into a partial one.

Notes

  • 45 to 48 HP (46 to 49 on Ascension 8+).
  • Found in Hive in the Bowlbug Swarm and Bowlbugs fights, and in Slumber Party alongside a Bowlbug (Silk) and a Slumbering Beetle.
  • Imbalanced on any other monster would stun it directly; on the Rock it only sets the flag and lets Headbutt do the stunning, which is why the stun always comes after the hit lands.
