Fatal
Card effect
Triggers whenever this card kills a non-minion enemy.
Fatal is a condition on a card's own attack: it triggers when the damage that card deals kills the target during that play.
The card checks the results of its own hit, so a kill by Poison, Doom, Thorns or another card does not count.
Minions are excluded: a target with the Minion power, summoned helpers that leave combat without their leader, never counts as Fatal.
Decimillipede's segments only count once all other segments are dead, because a segment normally revives.
If any power on the target says its death should not trigger Fatal, the bonus is skipped even though the kill happens; the card's other effects resolve as normal.
Cards with Fatal
Notes
Feed and Hand of Greed: Feed deals 10 (12 upgraded) and raises Max HP by 3 (4) on a Fatal kill, Exhausting either way; Hand of Greed deals 20 (25) and pays 20 (25) Gold.
The Hunt: The Hunt deals 10 (15) and adds an extra card reward after the fight; all three are excluded from random in-combat generation.
Doom: Book Repair Knife applies the same non-Minion rule to Doom kills.
Who counts: Bosses, Elites and ordinary enemies all count; minions such as Guardbot, Zapbot or Eye with Teeth do not.
