As every combat starts it tries to hand you a Potion-Shaped Rock, a Token potion that deals 15 damage when thrown. Procuring needs an empty potion slot; if your slots are full nothing happens. The Rock is a real potion, so it stays in its slot between fights if you do not throw it, and it counts as a potion for anything that cares. Uncommon, 225 Gold.

When to take Petrified Toad
A good deal in Act 1 and 2, where the 15-damage throw often kills outright. Best with a spare potion slot, worst if you like to hoard potions instead of throwing them.
