  • On pickup: hands you two relics and one Curse in the same moment.
  • The two relics: the game gathers every relic Neow could have offered you, drops Neow's Bones itself from that list, shuffles it and puts the first two in front of you as rewards you are not allowed to skip.
  • Drawback picks included: the pool holds the drawback picks as well as the clean ones, so you can be handed Cursed Pearl or Precarious Shears next to Golden Pearl.
  • The Curse: then one is rolled from the Curse pool and shuffled into your deck.

When to take Neow's Bones

Take it when your deck can carry an unplayable card for an act: two relics on floor 1 is a large head start, and most of the pool is upside. Usually beats the other drawback on offer.
