Upon pickup, Transform 3 cards, then Upgrade them.

You pick 3 cards from your deck, each is replaced with a random card of any rarity, and each replacement is Upgraded before it enters the deck. The choice uses the normal transform picker, so curses and starters are eligible. The effect happens once on pickup and cannot be traded away. The rolls use the run's niche RNG, so the outcome is fixed by your seed.

When to take Astrolabe

A Darv offer, take it early to turn three Strikes or Defends into three Upgraded random cards. Later, in a tuned deck, prefer other offers unless you have dead weight to convert.
