On pickup the game opens your deck and asks you to choose one card, which is transformed into a random card of any rarity. The choice is yours, the result is not: the code rolls the replacement, and it can land anywhere from Common to Rare. Because the effect fires once at pickup, the relic cannot be traded in multiplayer, and it does nothing after that.

When to take New Leaf

Target a Strike or Defend, since anything the roll produces beats a basic card, or target a Curse without Eternal. Neow drops it when the drawback rolled is Leafy Poultice.
