Lose 3 HP. The card in the above option is randomized.
Each time you Hold On: Holding on costs HP, 3 the first time and 1 more each time after, with no cap. It also rolls a new card for Overcome, a different one each time while your Deck has others. A re-rolled card can be a Basic one. The plate glows red once its cost would kill you.

Hold On: costs HP and rerolls that card, 3 HP the first time, then 4, 5, 6 and so on, one more per hold.
Every reroll excludes cards you already declined and any card of the same kind as the last offer, then picks at random from removable cards.
If that leaves nothing, any removable card can come up.
There is no cap on holding on, though the story text stops changing after the seventh.Internal playtest notes are from before the Early Access release. Names and numbers in them can differ from the game today.
