Relic Trader event art, Slay the Spire 2

Relic Trader

You turn a corner and suddenly, a shadowy figure is just standing there. He pivots to face you.

“Welcome! What're ya trading?”
The figure inquires as he flares open his cloak to reveal a slew of suspicious wares.
“Hehehe Heh... Thank you!”

Which option to take

  • You must trade, so pick the pair where your side is weakest: a Wax relic about to melt, a counter relic that has done its job, or anything you never notice.
  • Only give up a core relic if the offered piece is a Rare you would have taken anywhere.

How it plays

  • The trader lines up three of your tradable relics (a seeded shuffle picks which) against three new relics pulled from the front of the run's relic bag with normal rarity odds.
  • Each option swaps the named relic of yours for the named new one; hover to read both.
  • Choosing any line finishes the event.
  • There is no walk away option once trades are on the table; Proceed only appears if you have nothing tradable, which the entry gate makes impossible.
  • Tradable excludes used up relics, one time pickup relics, melted Wax, pets, and starter, event and ancient relics.
