Turn 1

How to beat Slimed Berserker

  • Alone: 261 HP, so this is a race against its Strength.
  • Vomit turn is free: set up powers or hit it before the Slimed arrives.
  • Slimed: costs 1, draws 1 and exhausts, so a fast-shuffling deck sees them soon and any exhaust payoff turns them into fuel.
  • Pummeling: block the four-hit Pummeling with one big chunk of Block.
  • Weak turn: keep attacking through it if your damage comes from powers or non-attack sources, since Weak trims attack damage by a quarter for three turns.
  • Smothers: save your best Block for Smother on turn four, and finish before the second Smother on turn eight.

Notes

  • HP is fixed at 261 (281 at Ascension 8+).
  • It only appears in the Glory normal pool, alone.
  • The compendium hides Smother, so its biggest hit is not on the bestiary card.
  • The Slimed cards land in the discard pile, not your hand, so they cost nothing on the turn they arrive.
