On pickup you receive two relics pulled from the front of your relic pool, the same source elite drops use, each with its rarity rolled normally, and they vanish from the pool afterward. Then one basic Strike and one basic Defend of your character are added to your deck.

When to take Large Capsule
Take it in Act 1, when your deck is full of basics you can remove later: two relics for two starter cards is a strong trade. Worse late in a thin, tuned deck.
