Shrink
Debuff
This creature's Attacks deal 30% less damage for the next 3 turns.
Shrink cuts the owner's Attack damage by 30%; it comes in two forms.
Beetle Juice applies 4 stacks to one enemy and one stack is removed at the end of that enemy's turn, so the potion covers 4 enemy attack phases; the power's own text shows 3 turns as a sample.
The Shrinker Beetle applies a -1 version to you that never ticks down: a single stack that lasts until the beetle that cast it dies, at which point it is removed.

Notes
The reduction is multiplicative and applies only to powered attacks, so Poison, Doom and relic damage are untouched. Because it is a flat 30% per creature, extra stacks add duration, not a deeper cut. The beetle's version has no counter and only ends with the caster's death, which makes the beetle the priority target in its encounters.
Rules and timing
- It only counts damage from Attack cards and enemy attacks. HP loss and damage dealt by relics, potions and other powers do not count.
- It can go below zero, and it is removed only when it reaches exactly 0.
Changes by version
- Buffed Beetlejuice potion: Shrink duration increased from 3 to 4
- Shrink hand selection cards so it no longer goes off screen if you have a lot of them
- Changed Shrinker Beetle: Shrink now wears off if the beetle is slain
All 5 patch notes2 older
- Shrink now always applies its damage decrease after Strength
- Fixed an issue where Shrinker Beetle's Shrink move wasn't visually shrinking the player
