Flutter
The Thieving Hopper gives itself 5 stacks with its Flutter move, the turn after it steals a card. While it hovers, every Attack that reaches it deals half damage. Only damage that scales with powers is halved; hits from relics, potions and powers land in full. Each of your Attacks that gets through for at least 1 unblocked damage removes 1 stack, and a fully blocked hit removes nothing.

Notes
At 0 stacks the Hopper is Stunned for its next turn, drops out of the air, then resumes its pattern. The count is multiplied by the player count in multiplayer. Any 1 damage that lands counts, so multi-hit cards such as Twin Strike strip it faster than one heavy swing, and since the Hopper flees a few turns later, speed matters.
Rules and timing
- It only counts damage from Attack cards and enemy attacks. HP loss and damage dealt by relics, potions and other powers do not count.
- In co-op an enemy receives more of it: the amount rises with the number of players.
