One Energy grants 6 Vigor, 8 when upgraded. Vigor adds its full amount to every hit of your next Attack card and is then removed once that Attack finishes. Multi-hit cards get the bonus on each strike, while a single hit gets it once. Playing a second Vigor card before attacking simply stacks the amount.

When to take Terraforming

Only take it when your deck holds multi-hit Attacks, since on a Strike it is just 6 damage for 1 Energy plus a card. Fine early for a Regent with Celestial Might.
