What it unlocks
It unlocks the ancient Neow, Mother of Resurrection, who greets you at the start of each run; the Act 1 ancient lists in Overgrowth and Underdocks exclude her until this epoch is opened. Opening Neow also quietly obtains Fog Rolls In, which is why The Silent becomes playable right after your first run. Chapter 5 of 6 in The Reopening, Doors era (year 2,733).
How to unlock Neow
Neow unlocks by finishing any run, won or lost.
The game grants it unconditionally whenever a Standard run ends, and it is also handed out on your first visit to the Timeline screen, so there is no way to miss it.- Nothing reveals Neow; it is the root of the whole Timeline.
Opening it reveals twelve slots at once: Preon, Seeds, The Daily, Darv, Orobas, Fog Rolls In and the six Ironclad chapters from The Ironclad through My Face.
