How to beat Scroll of Biting

  • Max HP loss: the reason to fight cleanly. Every unblocked hit costs 2, and Chew is two hits, so a sloppy turn against four scrolls can cost 8 Max HP or more.
  • Kill fast: block fully rather than mostly. HP: 30 to 37 (33 to 39 at Ascension 8+), and area damage does most of the work.
  • Priority: More Teeth is permanent and follows every Chomp, so the scroll with the most Strength goes first.
  • Chew turns: block hardest here, since each hit checks Paper Cuts separately.

Notes

  • Scrolls of Biting is a weak Glory encounter with three scrolls; Many Scrolls of Biting is a normal one with four.
  • Paper Cuts ignores damage that was blocked completely and any damage that does not scale with powers.
  • Strength from More Teeth is 2 at every Ascension.
