  • Second Chest in most runs: roughly 330 Gold in the first act buys a relic and a removal at the next shop, and one dead card is a small price for a deck of normal size.

How it plays

  • First Chest pays 52 to 67 Gold (60 plus a seeded roll from minus 8 to plus 7).
  • Second Chest pays 303 to 363 Gold (333 plus a roll from minus 30 to plus 30) and adds Greed, an Unplayable, Eternal curse that can never be removed or transformed.
  • Your character then delivers a short gold monologue.
