Endless Conveyor

You lumber into a shack with a bright but crooked sign that reads:
“ENDLESS FEAST - PAY WHAT YOU HUNGER!”

Inside, a willowy multi-armed chef is deftly preparing bites of food and placing them onto a winding chitinous belt.

One of the chef's arms point to a sign:
40 Gold each
You grab the Caviar from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Clam Roll from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Golden Fysh from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Spicy Snappy from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Seapunk Salad from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Jelly Liver from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Fried Eel from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
You grab the Suspicious Condiment from the belt and scarf it down.
Tasty!
Now that you've had your fill, you continue on your way.
Keeping your distance from a seat, you loiter in the shadows of the establishment's entrance.

The chef, unfazed, continues working. Studying this behavior and discipline, you seek to minimize unnecessary movement and emotion during combat.

Each dish you grab: Every dish costs 40 Gold and the next one is rolled at random, never the same dish twice in a row. Caviar and Clam Roll come up twice as often as the others. Every fifth dish is Seapunk Salad. From the second dish on, a rare Golden Fysh can turn up: it is free and pays 75 Gold. The screen above plays one possible belt.

Which option to take

Spicy Snappy and Jelly Liver on a starter are fine. Leave when the belt shows Fried Eel or Clam Roll, and stop at the fourth grab unless you want Feeding Frenzy. Observe if saving for a shop.

Grab Caviar off the Belt

Our pick
Gold−40Max HP+4
  • Grab Caviar every time; 40 Gold for 4 Max HP is fair and it is the most common dish.

Observe the Chef

UpgradeA random card

How it plays

Observe the Chef

  • Upgrades one random upgradable card and ends the event.

Working the belt

  • Otherwise the belt shows one dish at a time. Grabbing it costs 40 Gold and rolls the next, and you may Leave after any grab.
  • Below 40 Gold the grab locks (Broke).
  • No dish repeats back to back.

Dishes and roll weights

  • Caviar: +4 Max HP (weight 6).
  • Clam Roll: heal 10 (weight 6, only while hurt).
  • Spicy Snappy: upgrade a random card (weight 3).
  • Jelly Liver: transform a card you choose (weight 3).
  • Fried Eel: add a random colorless card, no choice (weight 3).
  • Suspicious Condiment: a random potion reward (weight 3, needs an open slot).
  • Golden Fysh: 75 Gold, free (weight 1, never the first dish).

Seapunk Salad

  • Every fifth dish is Seapunk Salad.
  • It adds Feeding Frenzy (0 cost, gain 5 Strength this turn, 7 upgraded).
