The Sealed Throne
The Sealed Throne is the Regent Ancient Power The Sealed Throne, which costs 1 Energy and 3 Stars, or 0 Energy upgraded, and gives 1 stack. Before each card you play resolves, you gain Stars equal to your stacks. The Star arrives before the card's own effects, and 0-cost filler becomes a Star engine.

Notes
It counts every card type, including the Powers and Statuses you play. Only your own cards trigger it; a teammate's plays give them nothing and you nothing. A second copy makes it 2 Stars per card. Combined with Star Next Turn from Hidden Cache, long turns can bank enough Stars to open the next turn with a Star-cost card already affordable.
