Galvanic
Globe Head, a Glory encounter, enters with 6 stacks. Before the fight begins, every Power card in each player's combat deck receives the Galvanized affliction at that stack count, and Power cards created later are marked too unless they already carry another affliction. Whenever you play a Galvanized card you take 6 damage. Block absorbs it, but Strength, Vulnerable and every other power-based modifier ignore it.

Notes
The marks live on the cards, not on you, and the Globe Head never raises them later; its Galvanic Burst move only gives it 2 Strength. The damage is dealt by the Globe Head's own power, so once it is dead nothing fires. Each Power you play is effectively a 6-damage hit against you, so block before you set up and hold the Powers you cannot afford.
