The colorless uncommon power Fasten (1 cost) gives 4 stacks (6 upgraded). Whenever you gain powered Block from a card carrying the Defend tag, the stacks are added on top. Only the five starter Defends and Ultimate Defend carry that tag; other Block cards ignore it. The bonus is additive, in the same step as Dexterity.

Notes
A basic Defend goes from 5 Block to 9 for the same 1 Energy, which is why it matters early and fades once Defends leave the deck. Two copies give 8 extra per Defend. It does nothing for Block from powers or relics.
