You gain Block equal to twice your current Block, so whatever you have is tripled. The gain ignores Dexterity; it is a straight multiplier of the number already on you. With 0 Block it does nothing at all. In co-op it can be thrown to a partner, using their Block. Timing is everything: drink it after your Block cards, never before.

When to take Fortifier

Rewards big Block turns, tripling whatever Block you already have. Best in Barricade or Body Slam decks, and only after your Block cards are played.
