Rupture
Buff
Whenever you lose HP on your turn, gain 1 Strength.
Rupture is the Ironclad's Power Rupture. Each time you lose HP during your own turn, you gain Strength equal to the stack, 1 from the base card and 2 upgraded; HP lost during the enemy turn never counts. The code tracks each card play: when the loss comes from a card you are playing, the Strength is banked and granted once that card finishes.

Notes
How it triggers
Off card plays: HP loss from something other than a card play, such as a relic ticking during your turn, grants the Strength immediately.
Blocked hits: only unblocked damage counts, so a self-hit fully absorbed by Block gives nothing.
Per hit: the trigger is per instance of HP loss, so a card that hurts you twice grants two stacks' worth in one lump.- Second copy: it doubles the gain per loss.
Payoff: it is the payoff for self-damage cards.
Changes by version
- Rupture power now applies Strength gain after Breakthrough card is finished playing
- Folly curse card now procs Rupture power
