Whenever you deal unblocked attack damage, apply 1 Poison.

Envenom, the Silent rare power (2 cost), gives 1 stack (2 upgraded). After one of your powered attacks deals at least 1 unblocked damage, the target gets Poison equal to the stacks. It fires per hit, so a multi-hit attack applies it once per damaging hit.

Notes

A fully blocked hit gives nothing, so chip through Block first. Unpowered damage from thorns, potions or relics never counts, and neither do attacks by allies. With Fan of Knives, every Shiv poisons every enemy it damages. Two copies give 2 Poison per hit.

Rules and timing

It only counts damage from Attack cards and enemy attacks. HP loss and damage dealt by relics, potions and other powers do not count.
