It has several slots which appear to convert liquids into a highly compressed digestible tablet.

The idea of turning these health tonics into a tiny morsel is uncomfortable but perhaps it's good to try new things?

What each choice does

Insert Potion

Lose the chosen Potion. Obtain an Upgraded card, of the Potion’s rarity and a rolled type. Three to choose from.

What the game says
The tablet was disgusting. There is no hope for the future.

Which option to take

  • Trade a Rare or event potion when the roll says Power or Attack and your deck lacks scaling; an upgraded Rare card is permanent, most potions are a one-fight swing.
  • Keep a Rare potion saved for the boss.
  • A Common potion for an upgraded Common Skill is fair value in act one.

How it plays

One trade per potion

  • One option appears for each of your first three potions, each a separate trade.
  • You give up that potion and get a card reward screen with three cards from your character's pool, all already upgraded.

Rarity and type

  • Card rarity follows the potion: Common or token potions yield Common cards, Uncommon potions Uncommon cards, Rare or event potions Rare cards.
  • The card type is rolled once per potion when the event opens, Attack, Skill or Power with equal odds, except that Common and token potions never roll Power.

What you see

  • The option names the potion, the card rarity and the rolled type before you commit; the three cards are drawn with uniform odds inside that filter.
  • You get one trade; the event then ends, and you cannot discard potions while it is open.
