Turn 1

How to beat Living Fog

  • Smoggy never wears off: after you play one Skill, every other Skill you hold is afflicted with Smog until the end of the turn, so you get exactly one Skill per turn. Attacks and Powers are unrestricted.
  • The turn after each Bloat is the dangerous one: Super Gas Blast and the bomb's explosion together are 16 (18) damage.
  • Spend a cheap Attack on the 7 HP bomb and save the one Skill for the Fog's own hit, or race the Fog itself, since every bomb vanishes when it dies.

Notes

  • Living Fog: a normal Underdocks encounter, starting the fight alone with 80 HP (82 at Ascension 8+).
  • Smoggy is applied at amount 1 and has no decay, so it lasts the whole combat.
  • Bloat only summons if a bomb slot is free; with all five filled it just attacks.
  • Bombs are Minions and leave when the Fog dies, so you never have to clear them to end the fight.
