The insects, sensing defeat, scatter. You turn to your fellow fighter.
“Would you like any tips on exterminating these pests?”

How polite. You nod and accept his offer.
“I see... you wish to learn the Extermination Technique. Very good...”

He pauses briefly, thinking how best to endow you with this maneuver...

“THIS IS THE TECHNIQUE! BEHOLD!!”
He boasts while holding up a can of Insecticide.
“I see... you wish to learn the Squash Technique. Very good...”

Which option to take

  • Exterminate when you have any Strength: four separate hits each add the bonus, and it clears groups on its own.
  • Squash for single targets; 10 damage plus Vulnerable is a strong opener against elites and the act boss and works in any deck.
  • With no Strength in the deck, Squash is the steadier pick.

How it plays

  • Both options add one event card to your deck for free and end the event.
  • Learn Extermination Technique gives Exterminate: 1 Energy, deal 3 damage to ALL enemies 4 times (4 per hit upgraded).
  • Learn Squash Technique gives Squash: 1 Energy, 10 damage to one enemy and 2 Vulnerable (12 damage and 3 Vulnerable upgraded).
  • There is no decline option.
