Turn 1

How to beat Fat Gremlin

  • It carries the gold the Merc stole: each of the Merc's attacks took up to 20 gold, and all of it is handed to the Fat Gremlin as a Heist.
  • If the Fat Gremlin dies before it flees, that gold comes back as an extra reward at the end of the fight.
  • If it escapes, the gold is gone and the fight's normal gold reward is zeroed as well, halved if nothing was actually stolen.
  • You get the rest of the turn it spawns on plus one full turn to deal 13 to 17 damage, so keep an attack in hand when the Merc is about to drop.

Notes

  • Part of the Two Gremlins in a Trenchcoat fight in the Underdocks act; 13 to 17 HP (14 to 18 at Ascension 8+).
  • It has no damage numbers to scale.
  • The Surprise power also stops the fight ending when the Merc dies, so you cannot skip the gremlins.
