Notes
The counter tracks plays, not price, so lead with your most expensive cards; a 0-cost card burns a free slot just the same. Cards played by other effects are not counted, and a card repeated in a series counts once. The turn you play it gives nothing: the game jams the counter so no card looks free while the turn ends. Stacks never decay.
