Surprise marks the Gremlin Merc in the Underdocks fight called Two Gremlins in a Trenchcoat. It has no stacks and does nothing while the Merc lives. When the Merc dies, combat is not allowed to end: a Sneaky Gremlin and a Fat Gremlin appear, and every bit of Gold the Merc stole through Thievery is moved onto the Fat Gremlin as Heist.

Notes

Both spawns sit stunned for one turn, then the Fat Gremlin flees on its next move and the Sneaky Gremlin starts hitting for 9 (10 on Ascension 9). Kill the Fat Gremlin on the one turn you get and the Heist Gold returns as a reward. If it escapes, the fight's Gold reward drops to half, or to nothing if any Gold was stolen.
