How to beat Bowlbug (Egg)

  • The Egg is the least dangerous body in any Bowlbug fight.
  • Its Block arrives after its own attack, so it sits on 7 (8) Block through your turn every turn. With 21 to 22 HP that still means two or three attacks.
  • Leave it for last: the Bowlbug (Rock) hits for 15 (16) and the Bowlbug (Nectar) turns into an 18 (19) hitter on turn two, while the Egg never scales.
  • Block 7 (8) a turn and it does nothing to you, or let a few hits through while you deal with the others.

Notes

  • 21 to 22 HP (23 to 24 on Ascension 8+), no starting powers.
  • It is one of the workers in Hive: the Bowlbug Swarm fight fields a Rock plus two different workers drawn from Egg, Silk and Nectar, and the weak Bowlbugs fight fields a Rock plus either the Egg or the Nectar.
  • The code calls its Block value ProtectBlock.
