How to beat A Pair of Nibbits
Two Nibbits
Nibbit: two of them, 42 to 46 HP each, one in front and one behind.
Every Nibbit loops Butt for 12, Slice for 6 plus 5 Block, and Hiss for 2 Strength, but they start at different points: the front one opens with Slice and the back one with Hiss.
So turn one is 6 damage, turn two is Hiss plus a 14 Butt from the back Nibbit, turn three is Butt 14 plus Slice, and the Strength keeps piling on from there.
Kill the back one first
Nothing here is dangerous on its own. The point is not to let it drag.
Kill the back Nibbit first: it Hisses first, so its Butt arrives at 14 on turn two and 16 by turn five.
The front one's Slice turn adds 5 Block, so hit it on its other turns.
Either dies to three or four decent attacks, and area damage makes it a two-turn fight.
At higher Ascension
- Ascension 8+: 44 to 48 HP and Slice gives 6 Block.
- Ascension 9+: Butt 13, Slice 7, and Hiss gives 3 Strength.
Where it appears
The single-Nibbit version is the weak-pool A Lone Nibbit, which uses a different opener. Slice is hidden from the Bestiary.
