How to beat Ovicopter
Ovicopter and its eggs
- Ovicopter: 124 to 130 HP, lays Tough Eggs. Turn one is Lay Eggs: up to 3 eggs, 14 to 18 HP each, appear as Minions.
- Then Smash for 16, Tenderizer for 7 plus 2 Vulnerable, then it lays again if it has 3 or fewer living helpers, otherwise Nutritional Paste for 3 Strength, and returns to Smash.
- An egg hatches on the enemy turn after it is laid: its HP resets to a fresh 19 to 22 whatever damage it took, its debuffs are wiped, and it then Nibbles for 4 every turn.
Ignore most eggs
Eggs are only worth hitting if you kill them, since the hatch erases anything less, and you get exactly one turn. Otherwise ignore them and hit the Ovicopter: eggs and hatchlings are Minions and leave when it dies.
Five egg slots cap the swarm, and once four helpers are alive it stops laying and stacks Strength instead.- Tenderizer's Vulnerable mostly inflates the Nibbles that follow it.
At higher Ascension
- Ascension 8+: Ovicopter 126 to 132 HP, eggs 15 to 19, hatchlings 20 to 23.
- Ascension 9+: Smash 17, Tenderizer 8, Nibble 5, Nutritional Paste 4 Strength.
